In 1991, at the age of 19, Adam Myerson put on his first cyclocross race, on behalf of his collegiate cycling team at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. 20 years later, it’s the oldest UCI-sanctioned event in North America, and the classic of New England ‘cross.

With over 1000 participants over 2 days on the first weekend of November every year, the event draws on progressive, outdoor mindset of Northampton, Massachusetts, as well as the Pioneer Valley, and the 5-College area of UMass, Amherst, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, and Hampshire Colleges.
